This film-type keypad is based on a vacuum formed printed film providing low key height and excellent graphics durability. The film is printed on the backside and formed to its final shape by vacuum forming (2 steps).

Process steps:

assembled film-type (FB-assy): The assembled film-type is based on backside printed PC- or PET-film, injected with plastic and assembled (glued) onto a silicone base.

For cellular and automotive applications, the keys can be equipped with printings, providing an exact same appearance as the housing panels or interior panels, using Mille-tint Film.
